IBJ/IJE Webinar - Practice Group Effective Dispute Resolution: Resolving disputes caused by the COVID-19 crisis – what options does the in-house lawyer have in the short and longer term?

Webinar | 07.03.20, 2:30 PM CEST - 4:00 PM CEST

As companies enter the post-COVID era, certain disagreements created by the crisis have not yet been resolved and new disputes linked to this unprecedented period are seeing the light of day.

This webinar for the Practice Group Effective Dispute Resolution, which is open exclusively for members of the IBJ/IJE, aims to take stock of the possible ways in which these disputes can be handled and allow you to be better prepared in the future.

Apart from looking at the legal aspects, the speakers will also investigate less frequently used options, such as binding decision-making by third party moderators (a procedure that recently obtained the support of the Bar) and mediation.

Emmanuel Plasschaert and Kristof Roox from the law firm Crowell & Moring will take the lead and share their experience and practical advice during this session, which will focus on the particular problems and questions that in-house lawyers have come across.
