Please join us for a webinar discussing new Department of Labor regulations regarding prevailing wages and compliance under the Davis-Bacon Act and Davis-Bacon Related Acts.

Published on August 23, 2023, the final Rule contains the first substantial regulatory changes under the Davis-Bacon Act in more than 40 years (read more about the new rule in our client alert announcing the new rule, available here). The new regulations create a significantly more complex set of compliance obligations for federal contractors and subcontractors that perform work on contracts covered by the Davis-Bacon Act. During this webinar we will discuss the new changes, tips and best practices for compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act, potential pitfalls for companies that perform work on federal contracts that are or may be covered by the Davis-Bacon Act, and certain options to recover increased contract performance costs that may face contractors as a result of these newest regulations. We will also discuss how the Davis-Bacon Act and related regulations compare to prevailing wage obligations for federal contractors and subcontractors under the Service Contract Act.

We hope that you can join us and participate in a lively discussion of these issues.

State legislatures are also racing to implement their own regulations, particularly around AI’s use in critical areas, such as healthcare, labor and employment, and data privacy. The many sources of regulation raise the specter of a fragmented compliance environment for businesses. This webinar will delve into the Administration’s AI strategy, going beyond the headlines to analyze:...
