“Cybersecurity in the Age of AI,” IAPP AI Governance Global North America 2025

On September 18, 2025, Partner Matthew F. Ferraro spoke on the panel “Cybersecurity in the Age of AI” at IAPP’s AI Governance Global North America 2025 conference in Boston, Massachusetts. Ferraro was joined on the panel by Ali Jessani, Counsel at WilmerHale, and Shannon Togawa Mercer, Senior Counsel at OpenAI. The panel discussed how developments in artificial intelligence have given rise to novel cybersecurity challenges for AI developers, deployers, and government bodies and how companies can best respond to them.
