Washington, D.C. – August 9, 2021: Crowell & Moring earned a spot on The American Lawyer’s A-List. The annual list recognizes the nation’s top 20 firms based on a number of factors, including financial performance, pro bono commitment, racial and gender diversity, and associate satisfaction.
Over the past year, Crowell has doubled down on its commitment to racial justice and equity, seeking to effect change within the firm’s community and through broader racial justice initiatives to combat both explicit and systemic racism; secured important pro bono victories, ranging from ensuring the right to vote for millions of Americans to securing Crosley Green’s release from wrongful imprisonment; remained connected and committed to the firm’s culture while navigating the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic; and continued to grow across the U.S. and in international markets.
“We are extremely proud of the work that our firm has accomplished over the past year to deliver great results and value to clients, support our community, continue to take affirmative steps to advance diversity and racial equity, dedicate increased resources to pro bono work, and build on our collaborative culture,” said Philip T. Inglima, chair of Crowell & Moring. “We are gratified by this honor, but we know that we must never stop striving to do better. The American Lawyer appropriately notes that, for the firms on this list, ‘one key to success is a constant desire to improve.’ At Crowell, that’s our relentless pursuit.”
