Los Angeles – May 15, 2017: Crowell & Moring is pleased to announce that Gail D. Zirkelbach, a partner in the firm’s Government Contracts Group in Los Angeles, has been named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2017 list of “Most Influential Women Lawyers.” The list highlights 50 female lawyers in the Los Angeles region who have made significant accomplishments throughout their legal careers.
The publication noted Zirkelbach’s 30-plus years of experience and her record of success in litigating and investigating highly sensitive government contracts matters. In particular, her experience handling False Claims Act matters has helped cement her status as a thought leader on FCA issues within the legal profession. She was also recognized for her experience at the federal, state, and local levels in internal investigations and defense of fraud actions, and her counseling of Department of Energy laboratories and large defense companies in all ranges of government contracts and compliance issues.
Zirkelbach is a member of Crowell & Moring’s Government Contracts Group steering committee and serves as co-chair of the firm’s Investigations practice. Additionally, she is currently co-chairing an effort through the American Bar Association’s Public Contract Law section to prepare a handbook on the FCA, which is scheduled to publish this summer.
No aspect of this advertisement has been approved by the Bars of, or any courts in, the jurisdictions in which the lawyers are admitted to practice.
