Nightingale's Healthcare News Names Christine L. White An "Outstanding Healthcare Antitrust Lawyer"

Washington, D.C. - December 30, 2009: Crowell & Moring is pleased to announce that Christine L. White, a partner in both the Antitrust and Health Care Groups, has been named to Nightingale's Healthcare News' 2009 list of "Outstanding Healthcare Antitrust Lawyers." The honor recognizes exceptional lawyers practicing in healthcare antitrust law nationwide. Nightingale's Healthcare News is a newsletter for professionals serving the healthcare industry, healthcare executives, and others interested in this dynamic and complex industry. Nightingale ’s selected White for her work in leading a team of lawyers in response to multiple non-public civil investigative demands issued by state and federal antitrust enforcers; multiple non-public voluntary request letters issued by the federal antitrust agencies in connection with pre-merger filing notifications; and an in rem proceeding instituted by the U,S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Additionally, Nightingale's notes that White has represented numerous clients in connection with state and federal investigations into proposed mergers and other third-party conduct.

White concentrates her practice in antitrust counseling, antitrust civil litigation and trade regulation matters. She provides counseling on a range of antitrust issues, including mergers, joint ventures and other collaborations among competitors in diverse industries. She has represented clients in matters before the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the Department of Justice (DOJ), state attorneys general and federal and state courts. White's clients have included corporate, trade association and health care industry clients, including local and national health care systems, multi-institutional systems, hospital districts, third party payors, provider network organizations, physician groups, and long-term care facilities.
