New York Law Journal Names Partners Glen McGorty a Distinguished Leader and Ilana Lubin a Rising Star for 2019

New York – June 19, 2019: Crowell & Moring is pleased to announce that the New York Law Journal has named Glen G. McGorty, managing partner of the firm’s New York office, to its 2019 list of “Distinguished Leaders.” The award honors attorneys in leadership roles who achieved impressive results in the past year. In addition, the publication named partner Ilana Lubin to its 2019 list of “Rising Stars,” which recognizes the region’s most promising lawyers age 40 and younger.

In addition to serving as the New York office managing partner, McGorty is a member of the firm’s Management Board and its White Collar & Regulatory Enforcement Group. He is an experienced trial lawyer who served for nearly 15 years as a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York and the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. Lubin, a partner in the firm’s Corporate and Advertising & Media groups, advises companies across a wide range of industries on domestic and cross-border M&A and joint venture transactions, particularly in the apparel, fashion, retail, luxury, and beauty sectors. She focuses on transactions relating to the licensing, acquisition, and disposition of intellectual property, to help clients maximize celebrity and corporate brand value.
