Washington – November 10, 2020: The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity, one of the nation’s leading organizations promoting diversity in the legal profession, has recognized Crowell & Moring with two honors: the 2020 Top Performer Award and the 2020 Compass Award.
LCLD, an organization of more than 350 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners, named 75 members as Top Performers this year for being in the top 20 percent for participation in the organization’s programs and activities. The Compass Award recognized 50 members who attend LCLD’s Annual Meeting and participate in the Fellows and Pathfinder programs, as well as at least one pipeline program (Mentoring or 1L Scholars). Crowell & Moring was one of just 22 member organizations to earn both designations.
“We are proud to earn both of these distinctions from LCLD, which reflect Crowell & Moring’s ongoing commitment to building a more diverse and inclusive workplace,” said Ellen M. Dwyer, chair of Crowell & Moring’s executive committee and chair of LCLD’s Board of Directors. “LCLD is using its voice and influence to identify and eliminate the systemic barriers that impede the advancement of diverse talent within its members’ organizations. We are proud to partner with LCLD in this critical mission.”
