Lawyers Alliance for New York Names Crowell & Moring an Institutional Honoree at Cornerstone Awards

New York – November 3, 2023: Lawyers Alliance for New York named Crowell & Moring an Institutional Honoree at the 2023 Cornerstone Awards. The award was presented at an awards ceremony in New York City on November 2.

The awards are presented annually to a select group of individuals and institutions that have made extraordinary contributions through pro bono legal services. These services help nonprofits to address critical human needs and improve the quality of life for thousands of low-income New Yorkers.

“Since 2007, Crowell & Moring has been an indispensable Lawyers Alliance partner. Crowell’s allegiance to pro bono and public service is a core value of the firm, shining through in the consistent praise for Crowell’s work,” wrote Lawyers Alliance announcing the news. “Crowell attorneys have made significant impact by reviewing contracts, revising key corporate governance documents, and navigating employment challenges for Lawyers Alliance clients. During the past five years, 88 Crowell pro bono attorneys represented 73 organizations through Lawyers Alliance.

The firm has worked closely with Lawyers Alliance clients including The A.J. Muste Institute, New Covenant Dominion Federal Credit Union, the Alliance for Coney Island, and the Adoptive and Foster Family Coalition of New York.
