Kristin Madigan Named 2025 Top Woman Lawyer by the Daily Journal

San Francisco – May 30, 2025: The Daily Journal has named Crowell & Moring’s Kristin Madigan as a Top Woman Lawyer in California in 2025. The annual list celebrates “excellence, impact, and leadership across the legal profession” and recognizes the top 100 women lawyers practicing in California. Kristin is a partner in the firm’s San Francisco office and a member of the firm’s Litigation and Privacy and Cybersecurity groups. Over the last 20 years, Kristin has represented clients in high-stakes complex litigation in federal and state courts, as well as regulatory matters, with a focus on technology, as well as privacy and consumer protection.

In honoring her, the Daily Journal notes that Kristin has “established herself as a key figure in high-stakes technology, privacy and consumer protection litigation through her combination of government service and private practice.” Kristin previously served at the FTC in Washington, D.C. in the Bureau of Consumer Protection, Division of Privacy and Identity Protection.

The Daily Journal also recognized Kristin in part for her role achieving a victory on behalf of defendants in Mass v. The Regents of the University of California, which the Daily Journal recognized as one of the “Top Verdicts of 2024.”

Crowell & Moring Relocates D.C. Office to Newly Redeveloped Space In Penn Quarter

Washington – June 3, 2026: Crowell & Moring has moved into new office space at the recently redeveloped former headquarters of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority in the Penn Quarter neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The firm occupies nearly 200,000 square feet over the top six floors of the building. Even with the firm’s significant expansion in DC, its new space is nearly 50% less than its previous footprint. This move is the latest for Crowell, which has relocated to premier space in New York, London, and Chicago over the past two years amid robust growth across the firm.  ...
