Brussels – July 8, 2021: Intellectual Asset Management recognized Crowell & Moring in its IAM Patent 1000 – The World’s Leading Patent Practitioners guide, awarding the firm a gold band ranking as one of the top four firms handling patent litigation and transactions in Belgium. This marks the eighth consecutive year that the firm has been ranked in the guide. The guide also recognized Brussels partners Kristof Roox and Jan-Diederik Lindemans, and counsel Jurgen Figys.
IAM notes that “Crowell & Moring is a ‘fantastic firm’ whose remit stretches from intellectual property to competition law and regulatory concerns: ‘It excels at addressing and supporting these issues, particularly when the three are intertwined. Its approach is very client focused and its team are outstanding strategic thinkers – a solid 10 out of 10.’”
Roox, co-managing partner of the firm’s Brussels office who was described as a “formidable foe,” again received a gold band individual ranking in the patent litigation and transactions category. In the same category, Lindemans earned a silver band ranking, and Figys ranked bronze. Lindemans and Figys were noted as “first-rate, responsive lawyers who deliver excellent results.”
