Washington, D.C. – July 16, 2015: Silicon Vision, a leading provider of high-performance, ultra-low-power wireless IP solutions based in Egypt and the United Kingdom, announced the sale of its Bluetooth Smart IP business to Synopsys, Inc., a California-based leader in electronic design automation (EDA) and semiconductor intellectual property. Crowell & Moring in Cairo and Washington, D.C. represented Silicon Vision in this matter.

Crowell & Moring Elects New Chair

Washington, D.C. – October 1, 2026: Crowell & Moring today announced that Glen McGorty, a member of the firm’s Management Board and Executive Committee, Chair of the Litigation and Trial Department, and managing partner of its New York office, has been elected by the partnership to be the next chair of the firm’s Management Board.
