London – March 6, 2020: Crowell & Moring has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Legal Advisor of the Year and Culture & Diversity categories of the 2020 Partnerships Awards, a key industry event for international projects and the public-private partnerships (PPP) market.
The Partnerships Awards has recognized leaders in the market and excellence, achievement and innovation in PPP for more than two decades. All major law firms in the global market compete for the top award, Legal Adviser of the Year.
“We are proud to have been shortlisted in these categories,” said partner Robin Baillie. “The recognition strengthens our position as a major leader in the energy and infrastructure sector and demonstrates our commitment to advising our clients on some of the industry's most high profile, landmark projects.”
Stefanie Atchinson, counsel and co-leader of the Crowell & Moring London Office Women’s Leadership Initiative, added, “We're very fortunate to work with clients who are leading the way in project delivery and innovation. It's great to see all our contributions recognized in this way."
The firm has also been shortlisted for the new Culture and Diversity Award, which recognizes forward-thinking organizations that have created an inclusive and ethical workplace culture.
"Crowell & Moring genuinely believes that a culture of inclusion makes us stronger lawyers, wiser professionals, and, ultimately, a better service provider – so we are thrilled that the firm's efforts in this space have been recognized with our shortlisting for this award,” said Lydia Taylor, counsel and co-leader of the Crowell & Moring London Office Women’s Leadership Initiative. “We are also pleased to see that one of our client’s operational projects (Leeds Combined Secondary Schools) has also been nominated for the Best Social Infrastructure Project – a tribute to the whole project team."
The winners of the awards will be announced at a ceremony on May 21, 2020.
