London – November 1, 2019: Crowell & Moring’s London office launched its chapter of the firm’s Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) this week with an inaugural breakfast event held under the banner of ‘helping talented women to flourish and achieve their potential.’
A firm wide campaign dedicated to the recruitment, retention, professional development, and advancement of female-identifying female lawyers, WLI is co-chaired by Tiffany Wynn, Sima Namiri-Kalantari, and Alexis DeBernardis, with support from its partner advisor, Nicole Owren-Wiest, and interim co-chairs, Monica Sterling and Rachel Raphael. The London chapter is spearheaded by counsel Stefanie Atchinson and associate Lydia Taylor.
"We are thrilled to officially launch the Women's Leadership Initiative in London,” Taylor said. “Our inaugural breakfast proved what an impressive group we have, full of ideas and enthusiasm. Watch out for an exciting year of women-led programming ahead!"
“I am already delighted with what we have achieved but we have only taken the first step in our effort to build a top-tier, diverse and multi-talented London office,” said Robert Weekes, managing partner of the London office. ”My vision is to create an environment where all voices are heard and respected, a team of excellent professionals who thoroughly enjoy working together.”
