Washington – February 3, 2022: Law360 has named Crowell & Moring’s Government Contracts Group a Practice Group of the Year for 2021. This marks the 12th consecutive year that the publication has recognized the group with this distinction.

“We are honored to be recognized again by Law360 as a Practice Group of the Year,” said Peter J. Eyre, co-chair of Crowell & Moring’s Government Contracts Group. “We are proud of our holistic approach to client service, commitment to diversity, and collaboration that led to successful results for our clients.”

Among the group’s accomplishments, Law360 highlighted the firm’s wins for Amazon Lockheed Martin, Serco, Inc., and the state of Colorado in a “groundbreaking” Affordable Care Act dispute against the U.S. government.

"Our model is to be a modern law firm that partners with our clients," group co-chair Stephen J. McBrady told Law360. "The old model was: Client has a problem. They call you. You try to help them solve it. ... The new model, and our model, is to proactively help our clients avoid problems."

Daniel R. Forman, co-chair of the Government Contracts Group, told Law360 the team is exploring opportunities to further expand its non-legal service offerings to further benefit government contractors.
