Washington – December 7, 2018: Crowell & Moring LLP partner Ellen Dwyer recently joined leaders from The Clorox Company, Harvard Law School, HP Inc., Microsoft, and USAA, in a panel discussion at the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s (LCLD) Ninth Annual Meeting in Washington.
The keynote discussion, “A Conversation at the Intersection of Leadership, Innovation, and Inclusion,” addressed issues ranging from the impact of the #MeToo movement to the role of giving and receiving critical feedback during the course of a career. Dwyer, a member of the LCLD board, urged law firm leaders and in-house counsel to create inclusive cultures.
LCLD’s annual meeting serves as one of the country's most effective D & I laboratories—incubating new ideas, testing them against tough-minded peers in small group sessions, and sharing them with the full membership of LCLD, more than 300 of the world's most powerful legal minds.
