Donald Toker joins the firm's Washington, D.C., office
Washington, D.C. – March 12, 2003: Crowell & Moring ("C&M") announced that Donald Toker, formerly of Hale and Dorr, has joined the firm in its Washington, D.C., office as a Partner in the Corporate Group. Toker's practice, concentrated primarily in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities law, bolsters the Firm's growing corporate and securities practices.
Jim Stuart, head of C&M's Corporate Group noted that, "We are delighted to have Don join our rapidly expanding corporate practice. Don adds real depth to our M&A, public company and corporate securities capabilities."
DONALD TOKER has represented public and private company clients in the full-range of M&A transactions, including mergers, tender offers, stock sales, LBOs, independent committees, asset acquisitions and dispositions, proxy contests and the adoption of shareholder rights plans. Toker has had extensive experience with privatization transactions. In addition, he has represented companies, venture capitalists and underwriters in a variety of public offerings and private placements of equity and debt securities. Toker began his legal career at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, where he practiced for 13 years before joining Hale and Dorr as a partner in their Northern Virginia office.
