Crowell & Moring Recognized Among Global Investigations Review's 'GIR 100'

The article highlights firm attorneys' experiences as former government officials, noting Washington, D.C.-based White Collar & Regulatory Enforcement Group chair Thomas A. The U.S. chemical company sued Kolon Industries in 2009, alleging that the South Korean company obtained proprietary information regarding the company's Kevlar fibre from former employees. Crowell & Moring's work for the company involved numerous civil and criminal proceedings across two continents and resulted in a criminal investigation of Kolon by the DoJ. In April, Kolon admitted to conspiring to steal trade secrets from DuPont, and was sentenced to pay a US$85 million criminal penalty and $275 million in restitution."
