Washington, D.C. – December 14, 2015: Crowell & Moring LLP is pleased to announce that the firm has received a 100 percent rating on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's (HRC) Corporate Equality Index (CEI). The CEI is a tool developed by the HRC, America's largest civil rights organization focused on gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (GLBT) equality, to rate companies based on their treatment of and policies regarding GLBT employees, consumers, and clients.
"We are extremely proud to be recognized for the sixth consecutive year with a 100 percent rating on the HRC's Corporate Equality Index. This demonstrates Crowell & Moring's unwavering commitment to fostering diversity, and that creating an inclusive and collegial professional environment for everyone remains a priority," said Monica G. Parham, Crowell & Moring's diversity counsel.
Since its beginning in 2002, the HRC Foundation's Corporate Equality Index has provided major U.S. businesses with a roadmap for establishing and maintaining inclusive workplaces for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered employees. It is the premier benchmark for businesses to gauge their success on GLBT inclusion against competitors.
