Washington – November 9, 2017: Crowell & Moring LLP is pleased to announce that for the eighth consecutive year the firm has earned a 100 percent score in the 2018 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report administered by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation that rates companies based on their corporate policies and practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) workplace equality. The perfect score places Crowell & Moring on the HRC Foundation’s list of “Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality.”

We are proud to be recognized once more by the Human Rights Campaign for our efforts to support LGBT workplace equality,” said Philip T. Inglima, chair of the firm’s executive committee. “It is through attracting and retaining diverse talent that we can best serve our clients and build a law firm community that better reflects the communities we serve.”

The HRC Foundation's 2018 CEI rated 127 law firms and 609 businesses overall in the report, which evaluates LGBT-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs and public engagement with the LGBT community.
