Firm News | 1 min read | 07.08.19

Washington – July 8, 2019: Crowell & Moring LLP is pleased to announce that it has been ranked by Law360 for the second consecutive year as one of the top five “Best Law Firms for Minority Attorneys.” Crowell & Moring was ranked fifth among U.S. law firms with 300 to 599 lawyers in terms of racial and ethnic minority diversity of its practitioners in the publication’s 2019 “Diversity Snapshot.”

Overall, more than 300 law firms participated in the publication’s survey, which ranked firms by the following size categories: 600 lawyers or more; 300 to 599; 150 to 299; 50 to 149; and 20 to 49. Firms were evaluated on four measures: total minority lawyers; minority nonpartners; total minority partners; and minority equity partners. Law360 excluded any firm that had below-average minority representation at any level.

According to Law360, “The top firms in each size category have demonstrable diversity levels of at least 20 percent of all attorneys at the firm, creating examples of what a more diverse and more inclusive workforce can look like.”
