Crowell & Moring Ranked Third Nationwide, First in D.C. in American Lawyer's "Summer Associate Survey"

Washington, D.C. – September 19, 2016: Crowell & Moring LLP is pleased to announce that it has ranked third nationwide and first for the D.C. area in the American Lawyer’s 2016 "Summer Associate Survey." The firmwide score was 4.995 (based on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest), with 100 percent of the summer class responding to the survey.

Scores are based on responses in subject areas such as interest level of work; how much "real" work was assigned; training and guidance; interactions with partners and full-time associates; how accurately the firm portrayed itself in interviews; how it rated overall as a place to work; and the respondents' inclination to accept a job if one were offered.

In the nationwide rankings, Crowell & Moring jumped to third place from 47th place the previous year – representing “one of the biggest leaps of any firm.”

According to American Lawyer, “summer associates praised [Crowell & Moring’s] program for the amount of real work that they were assigned and the collegial environment.” The article also noted that Crowell & Moring summer associates received more informal face time with upper management.
