Washington, D.C. – September 21, 2012: Crowell & Moring LLP is pleased to announce that the firm has been named among the "2012 Healthiest Employers" in Washington, D.C. by the Washington Business Journal (WBJ). The only law firm listed among the 50 recognized employers, Crowell & Moring ranked second in the category for businesses with 500-999 employees. Honorees and category winners were recognized at the WBJ's "Healthiest Employers Awards" luncheon on September 20 at the Grand Hyatt Washington. The companies on the list were featured in the September 21 issue of the publication.

The WBJ partnered with Healthiest Employer LLC, an Indianapolis data research company, to measure the region's top 50 healthiest employers who are "unleashing best practices for healthy workplaces." The list was compiled based on tabulated answers to a 75-question survey that participants completed regarding health benefits, wellness programs, on-site fitness facilities, incentive programs, and other aspects of employers' efforts geared toward promoting the overall health and well-being of their employees.
