Recognized for role in world’s largest blockchain investment to date
Washington – May 22, 2018: Crowell & Moring LLP has been chosen to receive the “Deal Financing of the Year” award in the M&A Advisor’s 10th Annual International M&A Awards. The firm has been honored for its role in world’s largest blockchain investment to date.
An independent judging panel of industry experts evaluated nominations representing more than 250 individual companies from across the world – a wide and varied group with deals valued at $10 million to tens of billions. Crowell & Moring was selected for shepherding a landmark FinTech deal in which 42 global banks, among others, invested $107 million in R3, a recently formed blockchain/distributed ledger technology (DLT) company. The financing deal consummated in May 2017.
The M&A Advisor’s international awards will be presented on June 18 at the Princeton Club in New York. To see the full list of M&A Award winners, click here.
