Washington, D.C. - January 27, 2010: Crowell & Moring LLP is pleased to announce that the Daily Journal, considered to be California's largest print and online legal news provider, has named two of the firm's verdicts to the publication's list of "Top Plaintiff Verdicts for 2009." The top verdicts were broken down by largest dollar amount, highest impact and largest arbitration award.

  • "Top Plaintiffs' Verdicts: Top Impact" List - Crowell & Moring was recognized for its work and the verdict in Alliant Credit Facility Ltd. v. "Confidential." The firm's Los Angeles-based team, which represented the plaintiffs, was lead by partner Michael L. Cypers and included counsel Kathleen Balderrama and associate Melanie Natasha Henry.
  • "Top Plaintiffs' Verdicts: Top Arbitration" List - Crowell & Moring was recognized for its work and the verdict in Bridgestone Americas Holding Inc. v. Chemtura Corp. The firm's Orange County-base team, lead by partner Daniel A. Sasse, also included partner Jeffrey H. Howard, counsel Van-Dzung V. Nguyen and associate Chahira Solh, represented Bridgestone in this matter.
