Crowell & Moring Advises RWC on Hermes Focus Funds Deal

London – September 20, 2012: Crowell & Moring's corporate team in London has advised investment manager RWC on its recent deal with European fund house Hermes, which will see Hermes' $800m Focus fund range and the three teams running them transfer to RWC in October. The funds, which will be rebranded RWC Focus funds, include the Specialist UK Focus fund and the European Focus fund. The Japan Stewardship fund, which is managed in collaboration with Nissay Asset Management, is also being transferred. The London-based Focus teams, comprising twelve members including fund managers and support staff, all of whom will join RWC, have an investment process which identifies companies going through, or about to go through, transformational change. The terms of the deal have not been publicly disclosed.
