Los Angeles – January 29, 2026: The Los Angeles Business Journal named Crowell & Moring’s Sima Namiri-Kalantari and Amy Karnikian to its 2026 Leaders of Influence: Minority Attorneys list. This prestigious recognition highlights attorneys who are making a profound impact on the legal community and who serve as trusted advisors throughout the L.A. region.
Namiri-Kalantari, a partner in Crowell’s Antitrust and Competition Group, represents companies in civil litigation related to price fixing, monopolization, market allocation, no-poach allegations, and other competition issues. She is recognized for her client-centered advocacy and work with experts in high-stakes civil antitrust cases. In addition to her defense-side work, Namiri-Kalantari pursues recovery claims for corporate plaintiffs that are victims of price-fixing cartels. Along with her litigation practice, Namiri-Kalantari helps clients mitigate risk through her counseling on various antitrust issues, such as vertical relationships, resale price maintenance, and price discrimination.
Namiri-Kalantari served previously as co-chair of Crowell’s Women’s Leadership Initiative and was selected as a 2024 Fellow and 2019 Pathfinder by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity. This is the second time Namiri-Kalantari has been named to LABJ’s Leaders of Influence: Minority Attorneys list, following her previous selection in 2024. She was also recognized by the publication as a Women of Influence in 2025.
Karnikian is a senior counsel in Crowell & Moring’s Transportation Group, focusing on commercial aviation transactions, aviation regulatory compliance, and commercial space transactions. With over a decade of experience, she is a trusted advisor to airlines, cargo operators, manufacturers, and emerging technology companies.
Karnikian’s experience includes cross-border commercial aircraft sale, leasing, finance, and restructuring matters representing a broad spectrum of aviation industry stakeholders. She also currently serves her community as an executive committee member of the Armenian Women’s Bar Association.
