Nimrah Najeeb is a counsel in Crowell & Moring’s Washington, D.C. office and a member of the firm’s International Trade Group. Nimrah focuses her practice on transactions, investigations and compliance, and advisory matters involving economic sanctions, export controls, anti-money laundering, and other cross-border international regulatory regimes. She has also advised U.S. and foreign-based multinationals regarding public international law issues, mergers and acquisitions, government and internal investigations, and third-party diligence.
Nimrah has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a "Rising Star" in international law since 2019.
Before joining Crowell & Moring, Nimrah worked as an associate at a Washington, D.C. law firm, where she advised clients on international trade, political law, and white collar matters.
Nimrah worked in the corporate practice of a law firm in New York where, in addition to representing private equity, health care, and technology clients in corporate matters, she represented a pro bono client in immigration/asylum proceedings. Prior to that, Nimrah was a fellow at the Leitner Center for International Law and Justice in New York, where she focused on public international law, human rights, and corporate social responsibility matters. During law school, she served as an intern at the Office of the Under-Secretary General for Legal Affairs in the United Nations Office of Legal Affairs.
