Melissa Nguyen is an associate in Crowell & Moring’s San Francisco office and is a member of the firm’s Antitrust & Competition and Mass Tort, Product, and Consumer Litigation groups. Melissa represents clients in the financial services, medical devices, and railroad industries in antitrust, class action, and products liability matters.
While in law school, Melissa served as co-chair of the Asian Pacific Islander Law Students Association, as a managing editor for the Pacific Basin Law Journal, and as a writing advisor for the Legal Research & Writing Program. She was awarded the Masin Family Academic Excellence Gold Award in Legal Research & Writing. Melissa was also a volunteer for the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles’s Skid Row Housing Clinic. Prior to joining Crowell & Moring, Melissa was a legal intern for Loyola Law School’s Project for the Innocent, where she assisted in overturning the conviction of a grandmother who was wrongfully charged with the death of her grandson.
Prior to law school, Melissa was a JusticeCorps member at the San Diego Superior Court and a paralegal intern at the San Diego Primary Public Defenders’ Office, Juvenile Delinquency Division.
