Overview

Kenneth Taketais a counsel in Crowell & Moring’s Litigation group. His practice focuses on complex litigation including trade secrets, product liability, ERISA, and insurance coverage in state and federal courts.

Kenneth has a robust pro bono practice that includes assisting individuals seeking to expunge criminal records and a federal habeas corpus petition in a death penalty case. Kenneth also volunteers as an alumni coach for the University of California, Hastings Moot Court team, assisting the next generation of lawyers in developing their legal writing and oral advocacy skills.

Kenneth graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he was Order of the Coif, a teaching assistant in the Legal Writing and Research Department, and served on Hastings' Moot Court Executive Board.
