Emily Tucker is an associate in Crowell & Moring’s Washington, D.C. office, where she is a member of the firm’s Mass Tort, Product and Consumer Litigation Group.
Her practice includes work on pharmaceutical and medical devices products liability matters and FDA regulatory advising. Emily regularly applies her scientific background to her legal work, finding that her technical acumen provides a valuable perspective for matters and research involving technology, biology, and chemistry. In her products liability matters, Emily provides litigation defense, including in multi-district actions implicating all members of the pharmaceutical supply chain. In her FDA-related work, Emily provides counseling on compliance with pharmaceutical and food labelling requirements, and since 2020 she has been closely monitoring the agency’s COVID-19 related policies and potential impact on clients.
Emily received her J.D., magna cum laude, from William & Mary Law School. While there, she was awarded the ABA-BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Intellectual Property Law, and she served as the director of outreach for the Student Intellectual Property Society. Emily received her B.S., magna cum laude, in chemical and biomolecular engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
