Washington, D.C. -- June 10, 2103: General Motors Co (GM) prevailed in the matter Saab Automobile v. General Motors Co when Judge Gershwin Drain of the U.S. District Court Eastern District of Michigan granted General Motors Co's motion to dismiss the $3 billion lawsuit accusing GM of effectively forcing Swedish automaker Saab into bankruptcy by expressing lack of support for the proposed sale of Saab to a Chinese automaker. Crowell & Moring represented GM in this matter.
