Legal 500 Recommends Crowell & Moring as Top UK Law Firm for Asset-Based Lending

London—October 13, 2021: Legal 500 has again listed Crowell & Moring as one of the top UK law firms in The Legal 500 UK 2021 for its asset-based lending work.

The guide recognized partner Andrew J. Knight as a leading individual, noting that since joining the firm in 2019, he “has effectively been able to leverage his well-established ties with numerous non-clearing bank UK and U.S. commercial bank funders, to pick up a range of new money and distressed deals in his new surroundings.”

Crowell & Moring’s asset-based lending team is comprised of leading lawyers working cooperatively between the U.S. and the UK, including partners Robert Weekes, Cathryn Williams, and Paul Muscutt; senior counsel Scott Lessne; and associates Seye Olufunwa, Mark Forster, and Beth Bradley. The International Legal Technology Association has named Crowell & Moring’s chief innovation and value officer Alma Asay to its 2024 list of Influential Women in Legal Technology. The annual list honors “outstanding women leaders in the global legal technology community.” Honorees are selected based on their history of mentorship and “level of impact on legal technology.”
