Crowell & Moring's Los Angeles Office Expands With Antitrust Litigator Jason Murray

Washington, D.C. - January 15, 2009: Crowell & Moring LLP is pleased to announce the addition of partner Jason C. Murray to the firm's internationally recognized Antitrust Group. Based in the Los Angeles office, Murray is an antitrust and complex commercial litigator with extensive experience in all aspects of litigation, including trial and appellate work, as well as government investigations. His move bolsters the firm's growing presence in California and further expands the firm's significant consumer class action defense and antitrust capabilities. He joins Crowell & Moring from Jones Day.

Murray's litigation experience includes work in the healthcare, intellectual property, entertainment, technology, and defense areas. Recent examples of his work include the successful defense of Pacific Hospital of Long Beach and other hospital systems in class action litigation challenging pricing policies and the representation of a major oil company in antitrust class action litigation involving the interplay of patents and standards setting.

Murray received his B.A. from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and his J.D. from the University of Southern California.
