Crowell & Moring Assists In Hurricane Katrina Disaster Relief Efforts

Washington, D.C. – September 6, 2005: Crowell & Moring LLP announced the creation of two efforts to help victims of Hurricane Katrina. The firm will be matching all employee contributions, on a dollar-for-dollar basis, to the American Red Cross. The firm is also sponsoring a special "Crowell & Moring Katrina Relief Fund" to assist the families of firm members who have been affected by the disaster. All donations to the fund will be used to buy goods and make monetary donations to the affected families.

Crowell & Moring has also offered firm clients and other business partners affected by this disaster assistance in the form of office space, use of computers, and other legal and business services.

“In this time of need, the Crowell & Moring family is thankful to be able to contribute to this relief effort. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by the disaster,” said John A. Macleod, Crowell & Moring chairman.
