Washington, D.C. - September 17, 2010: BTI Litigation Outlook 2011: Changes, Trends and Opportunities for Law Firms named Crowell & Moring LLP as one of only 24 litigation firms most recommended by large corporate clients.  According to BTI, this inaugural report takes an in-depth look at those firms that companies "consider to be best positioned to serve them in five distinct types of litigation, including IP, Securities and Employment."

To select the list of top law firms, BTI conducted one-on-one interviews with over 300 Fortune 1000 general counsel, in-house litigation counsel and litigation practice leaders at AmLaw 200 law firms between April and August 2010.  The research drills down to the top trends in litigation and the firms that are optimally positioned to meet the new challenges.

Litigation is a core strength of Crowell & Moring and a principal foundation of the firm's success.  Fully two-thirds of the Firm's attorneys prosecute and defend cases in federal and state trial and appellate courts, before domestic and international arbitration panels, and in administrative actions held before United States governmental agencies.  With a deep bench of seasoned litigators, Crowell & Moring has proficiency in a wide variety of practice and industry specialties.

Crowell & Moring LLP is an international law firm with nearly 500 lawyers representing clients in litigation and arbitration, regulatory, and transactional matters.  The firm is internationally recognized for its representation of Fortune 500 companies in high-stakes litigation, as well as its ongoing commitment to pro bono service and diversity.  The firm has offices in Washington, DC, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Orange County, Anchorage, London, and Brussels.
