ABA - Consumer Protection Enforcement in Canada
February 7, 2014
Canada and the U.S. are each other's largest trading partners. Companies that engage in cross-border sales and marketing must comply with the competition laws of both countries. Actions taken to comply with the laws of one country frequently affect business activities in the markets of both countries. Our panel of leading officials and practitioners will discuss law consumer protection enforcement cooperation between the FTC and Canada and will highlight some recent, cutting-edge enforcement cases in Canada that may provide a test case or a model for subsequent U.S. enforcement action.
