The 35th Annual Conference on International Antitrust Law and Policy will take place on Thursday and Friday, September 25 & 26, 2008 in the Pope Auditorium at Fordham Law School in New York City.
In 2006, the Fordham Competition Law Institute established a training center for antitrust/competition law officials, judges and policymakers from around the world under the leadership of Barry E. Hawk, Director of the Institute and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, and Andreas P. Reindl, Executive Director. The training programs are open to participants from newer competition regimes as well as more experienced jurisdictions, and facilitate the exchange of ideas, know-how and experiences among a broad range of jurisdictions. Speakers include Neelie Kroes-EU Commissioner for Competition, Brussels, William Kovacic-Chairman of the Federal Trade Commission, Washington DC, and John Fingleton-Chief Executive Officer of the Office of Fair Trading, London.
