Overview

Rachel Schumacher helps clients with investigations, transactions, and compliance matters involving a variety of government contracts and international trade issues.

Previously, Rachel was employed by a major U.S. defense contractor and industrial corporation, where she managed government contracts and handled International Traffic in Arms Regulations and Export Administration Regulations issues. She also conducted internal reviews, assisted in developing ITAR compliance programs, and drafted voluntary disclosures.

While in law school, Rachel was senior symposium editor of the Journal of National Security Law and Policy. She also served as secretary of the National Security Law Society and the Student Bar Association. Rachel also worked as a student advocate at the Federal Legislation Clinic at Georgetown Law.
