Overview

Justine Meulemans is an associate in Crowell & Moring’s Brussels office and a member of the firm’s International Dispute Resolution Group, which focuses on international arbitration and commercial litigation. Clients can rely on Justine for her astute advice on all aspects of dispute resolution — both within Belgium and cross-border.

During her studies, Justine participated in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Her team won the Belgian national championship and reached the octo-finals of the international rounds in Washington D.C. They were also honored with the Alona E. Evans Award for 6th best written memorial.

During her LLM in Leiden, Netherlands, Justine was a student researcher for the Kalshoven-Gieskes Forum on International Humanitarian Law, in its IHL legal clinic. Before joining Crowell, Justine completed a traineeship at the Council of Europe’s Parliamentary Assembly, in the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights.

Justine’s native language is Dutch, and she is fluent in English and French.
