Overview

Dana Statsky Smith is a counsel in Crowell & Moring’s New York office, where she practices in the Antitrust and Competition Group. Dana focuses on claims recovery in large antitrust and tort settlements.

Prior to joining Crowell, Dana worked as a plaintiffs’ class action litigator representing clients in complex and class action litigation in federal and state courts involving securities, antitrust, and consumer protection disputes. In that capacity, she handled all aspects of class action litigation, working on cases from inception through jury trials in state and federal court. Dana has extensive experience managing class action settlements, including two years working in business development for a claims administrator. 

Dana received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where she was honored as a staff member with the International Law Journal, as Fordham Moot Court Mulligan Editor, and as a staff member for the International Jessup Bench Team. Dana received her B.A. cum laude from Binghamton University in Environmental Studies, with a concentration in Public Policy, Administration, and Law.
