Celine De Buck is an associate in Crowell & Moring’s Brussels office and a member of the firm’s International Trade Group. Celine focuses her practice on EU sanctions, export controls, and compliance matters. In addition, she advises on and litigates in complex commercial dispute resolution cases. She has represented a wide range of clients, from SMEs to multinational corporations, from a variety of industries.

- Advising a leading distributor of chemicals and trader of various commodities on a broad range of compliance-related matters, ESG, as well as sanctions and export controls (including advising on potential sanctions breaches and the legal and regulatory consequences thereof).
- Advising an international supplier of consumer goods in relation to sanctions and export controls, as well as the divestment of its activities in Russia.
- Advising a leading specialty chemical company in relation to sanctions and export controls.
- Advising an international distributor of construction equipment in relation to ESG, sanctions, and export controls.
- Representing several companies of a principal player in the meatpacking industry in proceedings against the Belgian state, the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain, and leading retailers.
- Representing and advising a multinational company in the energy sector in disputes and proceedings against its contractors.
- Advising an energy company on the enforcement of an arbitral award on assets held and blocked by an ICSD.
