Overview

Adina Nelson is an associate in the Government Contracts and Labor and Employment groups based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Adina provides counseling and litigation support to clients involved in a variety of disputes, including employment discrimination claims, government investigations, suspension and debarment matters, Service Contract Act price adjustments, and bid protests.

While attending Georgetown Law, Adina participated in the Federal Legislation Clinic, providing her with a deep understanding of the legislative process and client advocacy. She also served as an executive editor of the American Criminal Law Review’s Annual Survey of White Collar Crime.

Her experience also includes serving as a judicial extern to the Honorable Elaine D. Kaplan at the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, where she gained firsthand exposure to federal contract litigation. Adina also interned at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia, focusing on special education and juvenile justice advocacy—a commitment she continues through her active pro bono practice today.
