White House Touts Law Firm Pro Bono Work

Vice President Joe Biden welcomed the board of directors of the Association of Pro Bono Counsel and senior management from board members’ law firms to the White House as a gesture of his support for law firm pro bono programs. According to the association, Vice President Biden said he supported firms' efforts to institutionalize pro bono work by hiring full-time professionals to oversee pro bono efforts. Washington, D.C.-based public service partner, Susan M. Hoffman attended this event on behalf of the firm.
