Marks is featured in The National Law Journal as co-lead class counsel in the Black Farmers discrimination litigation regarding those black farmers who missed out on a government loan discrimination settlement more than a decade ago. Among other rulings, in May 2011, U.S. District Judge Paul Friedman preliminarily approved the $1.25 billion black farmers' settlement and certified the class.
