American Lawyer's Big Suits: In re Medicare Reimbursement Litigation

Crowell & Moring is featured in the American Lawyer's "Big Suits" column for the firm's work on the largest single reimbursement payout by Medicare. On March 11, 2008, the federal government agreed to pay $666 million in back payments to 667 hospitals. Led by the Crowell & Moring Health Care Group, the firm represented 86 hospitals and filed some of the first cases in late 2002. The case is "In re Medicare Reimbursement Litigation."
