Washington, D.C. - March 28, 2008: Crowell & Moring LLP is pleased to announce that the firm's Antitrust Group has been included in Global Competition Review's (GCR) 2008 edition of the GCR 100: The World's Leading Competition Law Practices. GCR is the leading international journal of competition policy and regulation.

According to GCR, "Crowell & Moring returns to the GCR 100 this year, thanks to an impressive docket of cases – particularly in the US. The firm was appointed lead antitrust counsel to AT&T when it bought BellSouth for US$86 billion, and also when it acquired Dobson Communications for US$2.8 billion."

The GCR 100 analyzes the top 100 competition practices in the world, as selected by GCR editors and reporters. To determine law firm rankings, GCR uses a variety of criteria including size, coverage, degree of competition specialization, policy work and recent successes, among other things. The final list represents GCR's subjective opinion.

Wm. Randolph Smith, chair of Crowell & Moring's Antitrust Group, has also been named to 2008 edition of The International Who's Who of Competition Lawyers.
