Washington – September 6, 2017: Crowell & Moring is pleased to announce that Samuel E. Feigin, a partner in the firm's Corporate Group, has been named to the National Law Journal's 2017 list of Mergers & Acquisitions and Antitrust Trailblazers. The list features lawyers who have achieved groundbreaking legal accomplishments in the areas of corporate deal making.
Feigin leads mergers & acquisitions in the technology and retail arenas for companies large and small. He not only leads significant and complex transactions, but also is called upon by buyers and sellers, including private equity funds, to handle the always critical and sensitive C-suite issues in M&A transactions in instances in which another firm is leading the transaction. Having started as an employment lawyer and focusing on the intersection of corporate transactions and employment matters, Feigin is particularly adept at leading deals in which human capital is a huge component of the value proposition and deals that hinge on incentivizing the senior executives or other employee groups to take or refrain from taking particular actions. Apart from M&A, his corporate work includes an array of financing and commercial transactions, and his employment work includes executive employment and equity arrangements, implementation and refinement of employee policies, employee crises and disputes, employee incentive programs, and non-competition matters.
In addition to serving on the firm's Corporate Group and Life Sciences Steering Committees, Feigin also serves as chair of the firm's Israel and Emerging Companies & Venture Capital practices. The NLJ noted his representation of many Israeli companies doing business in the United States, at a time when cross-border deals are on the rise. Feigin told the NLJ that he expects the number of these deals—and the amount of scrutiny they face—to continue to increase.
NLJ editors selected the winners from hundreds of nominations, and interviewed each Trailblazer about their successes. Profiles of Feigin and the other 17 honorees can be viewed here.
No aspect of this advertisement has been approved by the Bars of, or any courts in, the jurisdictions in which the lawyers are admitted to practice.
