Event | 09.16.08, 12:00 AM UTC - 12:00 AM UTC

The Arbitration Committee of the US Council for International Business (USCIB) and Crowell & Moring LLP are pleased to announce a Mock Arbitration Event for the Young Arbitrators Forum (YAF), taking place on September 16, 2008, at the New York Hilton Hotel , under the theme of " Advocating an International Dispute from Different Cultural and Legal Backgrounds - Bridging the Gap Between the U.S., Europe and the Middle East". This workshop event is designed to engage discussion and debate between the members of the panels and the audience on the unique legal and cultural issues arising from disputes between parties from different legal backgrounds.

YAF is organized by USCIB, the US national committee of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, which was established as a way to provide a forum for young lawyers (age 40 or under) who practice or are interested in the field of international dispute resolution to meet, exchange ideas and learn from well-established and up-and-coming practitioners in the field.

Crowell & Moring will host a cocktail reception following the event.

Arif Ali, Samaa Haridi, Daniel Vielleville and Charity Goodman are participating in this forum.
