Something’s Gotta Give: Environmental and Sustainability Disclosure

As the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board rumbles past the halfway marker of its self-appointed task of creating disclosure metrics for 88 industries in 10 sectors by the end of 2016, and GRI predicts that by 2025 sustainability reports as we know them will be replaced by real-time data transparency on sustainability matters, the fields of environmental and sustainability reporting are in the full throes of unprecedented, dynamic change.  Shareholder resolutions, the broad spectrum of responses to those resolutions, and recent shareholder class action suits are just a few of the fault lines that have recently developed, as the tectonic plates of disclosure expectation and practice shift rapidly.  This webinar will explore the underpinnings and potential consequences of some of the salient recent developments.

Jeff Smith will be speaking at this event.
